REVEAL
The latest book cover and the tour
Is that a teaser?
It’s March. How did we get here so quickly?
It was like yesterday when my son was born and I was stuck in a hospital for several days.
Well, life doesn’t slow down and I learned that the hard way.
The good news… life has a way of getting better more than worse.
I am thoroughly enjoying parenting, but I have a hard time thinking that parenting is the only form of happiness. My son needs to see the joy that I see. He needs to understand happiness can come from different forms throughout life.
My writing is something I care deeply about and wish to share it with the world and my son will understand it isn’t some stupid little hobby.
Which brings me to my first announcement.
I have booked a table at this year’s show. It was absent for several years. I believe it was put on the back burner since Covid but it’s making its return since 2019. I had a blast that year and swore to myself I’d be getting to the next one with books. Seven years later… I am here.
(2019 with my wife)
Here is my official spot on their website. I’ll have more details once I know where my physical spot is, but I plan on bringing some extra fun things to the show!

My second announcement.
The official cover of Please Don’t Rewind.
This artwork is truly a dream come true. This was one particular artist I wanted to work with since I started writing this book. I reached out and he started a few months after our initial conversation. This cover draws inspiration from a variety of images, but its evident that I pay tribute to the V/H/S/ franchise with this one. Below is the full artwork. It may crop depending on the layout of the interior, so here it is to really gauge the beauty done by Stefan Koidl.
It’s haunting. It’s beautiful. It’s exactly what I wanted. I am so proud to have this as my latest collection! The typography is done by Scott Cole, another talented artist and author. (Go read his stuff. Such a great writer)
Scott actually did my cover for Dead Planet, so I knew already he was going to deliver for the cover polishing I needed. I already love the back cover too, but I’ll show that at a later date when things are closer to being finalized.
This book is going to be a story collection with a grounding story to tie everything together. I’m really excited to share this. I’m honestly still working on the last one, but it’ll be a load of gory fun!
So far, only two shows are planned for the year. However, I may have one or two more pop up as the year goes on. I’ll keep my website updated! Keep looking over at MY WEBSITE for appearance updates!
Life moves a little slower lately, but I’m happily making some big things happen as we get deeper into 2026.
That’s it for now! The end of March will bring another update. Book release date!
Happy reading!
Your horrific friend,
Joe
