Spring Dread
Hate the weather, love the upcoming
I can’t stress enough how little I enjoy spring. The inconsistent weather, the lack of holidays, and the anticipation of actual warm weather just takes too damn long.
Still, I have some more news and the biggest show of 2026 is only a few days away!
Book Con is lingering around the corner and I’m nearly complete with all of my stock and set up adjustments. I want to have a very rich and exciting booth so when people discover me for the first time, they take a chance and pick something up. No pressure, only one of the biggest book shows in the country!
I’m excited. I have several friends who will be helping at my booth and I have several that will be stopping by throughout the weekend!
Please Don’t Rewind continues on. I’m nearing the end. I hate to give you an idea of a date but honestly I simply don’t have one at the moment. I think it will be a remarkable project though because I’ve poured my heart into it for almost a year now. Thankfully, I recently made the cover public and people have responded well to it! Hopefully that reflects back in preorders and booth sales once it is finally out.
I added another show to my summer events. I will be at Thrills and Chills Book Fair in Middletown, NY on July 12th. I will also have my wife and her company, Solemn Society, vending beside me for those who love a good candle burning while they indulge in some reading! We have vended at several shows together and I’m excited to do it again. I know she will have a much better time given the fact she isn’t 6+ months pregnant anymore.
There’s a likely chance I’ll be doing another show later in the year but please keep up to date with my website to be notified of any other dates I’ll be vending!

I’m working on the remainder of 2026 releases and what the schedule of releases looks for in 2027. Stay tuned for some updates!
After Book Con , I’ll have a little less than 2 months until Living Dead Weekend! Here’s hoping with all my efforts that Please Don’t Rewind will debut there!
Happy Reading!
Your horrific friend,
Joe
