So, Living Dead Weekend was much more to me than a successful weekend.
I spent my weekend starting on Thursday (6/5) setting up in Hall B. My usual room was unavailable this year, but despite my sadness to not be in the former Gadzooks, Hall B was the room to be in.
I was right beside the entrance all weekend so I was the second table upon entering. The store front was also entirely glass so my neon sign shined bright and caught a lot of eyes!
It really paid off because this was my best Living Dead Weekend to date!
I was able to reunite with some friends (even a few zombies came to say hi!) and hang out all weekend.

Friday kicked off with a busy rush and I was able to relax after.
Saturday was a long day but I got to mingle and see some other friends coming around. I got to explore Hall A which was a bit chaotic but it was lovely to see some friends!
Sunday brought a slow morning but picked up a bit. I did pack up early and head out by 3PM because I drove almost straight home minus gas stops and some food.
Overall, the weekend was as predicted. Many people were hoping the mall remains open and this show remains for many years to come. There’s no certainty and equally no uncertainty. We were all just excited to celebrate the fandom and be among the great location once again.
I had the honor of volunteering at Stokercon in Stamford, CT this weekend. I took almost no photos sadly, but here’s proof!
I moderated several reading blocks including ones with Rachel Harrison and Aaron Dries.
I did get a chance to chat with Aaron briefly and got a photo with him!
It was my first Stokercon and I’m thrilled that I got to see so many friends and experience the vast potential of where my writing career may go. It was only fuel to the fire. Several pallets soaked in gasoline when I say fuel. I need to make some changes so I can focus and get my goals worked on with as much free time I can find.
With that being said, I’m going to dial back these newletters a bit. They aren’t going away, but I’ll be bringing it down to two a month instead of weekly. I typically don’t have that many frequent updates these days anyway, so I can provide more enlightening news when they release.
Thanks for always sticking with me. I appreciate all of your support.
I’m still waiting on edits for Our Family Home, so for now I am chipping away at Book 7. It is becoming a very big passion project. Stay tuned for more!
Happy reading!
Your horrific friend,
